Genevieve MacKenzie has her life completely under control. About to wed the charming Chief doctor at the local hospital, she’s an up-and-coming surgeon with everything she could ever want. Until an escape through the church window on the day of her wedding sends her life into a tailspin…and flings her right into her best friend’s arms.

When Wolfe catches his best friend falling out a window on her wedding day, he doesn’t ask questions. He whisks her away, determined to watch over her and discover the truth behind her desperate escape. But when his feelings turn more than platonic, he realizes he may risk his most important relationship in order to protect his damaged heart, and the woman he loves.

Can Genevieve and Wolfe’s friendship turn into something deeper—or is it already too late for true love?

Searching For Beautiful has got to be my favorite of the Searching For series. The third book to the spin off series of Probst's Marriage To a Billionaire series, Searching For Beautiful features resident surgeon Genevieve MacKenzie and the former bad boy, Wolfe in a fantastic best friends-to-lovers romance that will keep you on the edge of your seat as the pages turn.

On the day of her wedding, Gen ditched her husband-to-be at the altar and escaped through the back window. Luckily for her, Wolfe, her best friend had been on the location and was ready to help her immediately get away. Gen has her reasons for leaving her fiance, and it's something more than just the typical pre-wedding jitters. With that, Wolfe is up and ready to be there for Gen, no matter what it takes.

Gen and Wolfe are my favorite couple of the Searching For series. Even as best friends, the whole attraction between them is perfect. It's a slow burn, but the tension is undeniably steamy and explosive. But I enjoyed reading about their friendship more, especially the playful banter between the duo. I love the characters as individuals as well. Gen was a strong heroine, especially with everything she had to go through in this novel. Meanwhile, Wolfe was the reformed bad boy with his sexy tattoos and piercings. Although a broken character, he was swoonworthy and the perfect match for Gen.

Not only do we get a steamy romance between Gen and Wolfe, we also get a sneak peak of Arilyn's (The third friend of the girls from the Kinnections Matchmaking Agency from the first two books) which I assume might be the next book of the series!

Best friends, and a second chance for a shot of happiness in life; Searching For Beautiful is a wonderful, heartfelt read. If you're looking for romances that will leave you in awe, this book (or series) should be your next read!

They're sweet romances and I love em. :D
It sounds nice but one question though - does he literally catches his best friend falling out a window on her wedding day? :P ;)
If this is true then it is in fact a very unique start :)

Well... not really. She lands on her ass and her best friend is apparently smoking a few feet away from the window, lol. XD
I have never heard of this series before, but the cover looks fabulous. It's simple and yet you can feel the intimacy in it, especially in that kiss! If the series is as good as you say and if it feels as intimate as the cover, then I'm in, obviously ;)

I know right! The previous books don't have a similar cover style though, which would have been better. But the next book to this has the same feel. :D
Lovely review, Blessie! I've read her Marriage to a Billionaire series, but not this series yet. I think the cover is so adorable!

Thank you, Grace! :D You should check out this series. It also features The Book of Spells and the characters from the Marriage to a Billionaire series! :D
Whenever I see the word " Billionaire " in a book title, I tend to avoid it. Usually for me the stories are so cliche, and overbearing, but you definitely made this sound like worth the read. Idk about him catching her out the damn window, that definitely wouldv'e warranted a " side-eye- " from me! lol. The Friends-to-lovers scenarios happens to be one of my favorites, the relationships are usually so damn cute :)

As cliche as those reads may sound, a little bit won't hurt, especially if it's properly executed and with the right amount. ;D Most romances are cliche, anyway, and people love 'em!
Oooh, I am digging the best friend theme! I am so into them right now. Plus I read the first Searching For book back in 2013 (I think) and really need to pick up book 2. Also curious about the main character being a surgeon :D Staph making my TBR so loooong D:

I love the best friend trope. And girl, this is payback. You tend to make my TBR list longer too. ;D Hahaha
This sounds like a really cute read. I haven't read any of Jennifer Probst's books but I did hear they're pretty good. Maybe I'll start with her first book. Dunno, we'll see. Good review though!

They're very good books and absolutely interesting. You should give her books a try! :D Thanks, Jazmen!
Whoa this sounds like some drastic measures to take to escape a wedding! I am so curious to find out what it is about her seemingly perfect life wasn't as perfect as everyone thought and made her change her mind in the end. I like the sound of a best friend romance as well, because those are usually my favourites.

This title can be read as a standalone but if you read the previous instalments of this series, you'll see glimpses of Gen's story why she runs away on her wedding day. :D It may sound cliche, but the author put up great twists in this story that makes it very interesting. :D Thanks for stopping by, Olivia!
I've read one book by Jennifer but the Polish translation was so bad I was struggling through it... Maybe I'll give the author the second chance, now in English! :)

Oh dear, I never like it when books are translated to another language, but I know it's for a readers convenience. I mostly cringe when I see English books translated in my language, because it's just soooo bad! You should give her books another try again. They're really good. :D
