I'm a very big fan of movies, and I'd definitely consider myself as a movie junkie. Just give me a bag of popcorn (cheese flavored, of course) and sit me on a comfy couch or on my bed, propped up with tons of soft, fluffy pillows and I'm good to go!
But as an avid book reader, I love to imagine every part of a book into a movie scene, from the location setting all the way to the camera angles. In fact, I've got the whole screenplay panned out! And of course, let's not forget the actors and actresses, which I pick out to fit every single character in said novel. Sometimes I even imagine the characters into my favorite actors/actresses (most of the time—particularly the time I got so hooked with Olicity (Oliver and Felicity from, Arrow, the popular superhero hit TV show from the CW, I visualized them as every couple in every romance book I read... and moving on).
So, in lieu for my promo post for a blog tour, I've created the feature, If This Was Movie, where in I create a dream cast for a book I've read, with me, as the director, of course, because, duh.

Zephyr "Zee" is our main heroine! She's seventeen, and is in senior high. Athletic teen and is co-captain of the school hockey team! Young Nina Dobrev is definitely a perfect fit, because of her bright personality, aye?
Here's Gregg, who's one of Zephyr's best friends and neighbour. Gregg's a loyal best friend, but also a total ladies man. He's funny, athletic and one of the popular kids in school. Check out that Kellan smirk though!
Here's Alec, the new boy in town, and Zephyr's new beau, and a mysterious handsome boy. I definitely think The 5th Wave's Alex Roe is the perfect Alec (because Alex = Alec, duh?). Also, who's excited for The 5th Wave?!
Another of Zephyr's best friends, there's Lizzie, the school journalist. She's seen all the time with a camera, and writing for the school paper. If she gets wind of anything juicy, best believe it's going to be out on the bulletin! Easy A's Emma Stone is the total sassy and hip, free-bird high-schooler character and the perfect fit for Lizzie!
Of course, a YA novel isn't complete without the parentals, especially the main characters. We've got Zee's mom. Sweet lady, that she is. And Zephyr's dad, although he's not in the picture most of the time, as Zee's parents are divorced, he does play a vital role in the book. This couple from Switched at Birth are definitely the perfect parents for Zephyr!
So there you have it! I pretty much have the core characters casted. To those who's had the opportunity to read The Girl Who Fell, can you visualize the movie yet? 'Cause I can totally see it now! High school, lockers, skating rink, hockey jerseys, locker rooms! I'm so stoked!
